KSP Energy
KSP Energy
KSP Energy is a Hawaii based independent power producer (IPP) focused on owning and operating solar farms throughout Hawaii. We use our native knowledge of Hawaii’s electricity system to meet the needs of our customers.
Utilities across the country (including Hawaiian Electric) burn fossil fuel to create process heat which they use to turn turbines that produce electricity. KSP Energy is using Hawaii based technology to create electricity using renewable resources to reduce the burning of oil. In facilities we produce and sell electricity, steam or desalinated water for drinking.
KSP Energy owns, operates and maintains generation assets. Our first project is Holaniku at Keahole Point
